Are you saying the dagger on Whittman's site is a reproduction?

You will need to be much more specific in your reasoning than just a slsur.

I think he is saying someone is using Wittman's photos on that auction site i.e high lighting a scam

thank you AJ.

I know the language issue is difficult.

If this is correct, Whittman needs to take the correct action.

We seem to be seeing more and more of this type of outright con.

No response!

The account is from his wife, and it's the real name.
But not Hamburg,it is rather Dsseldorf.
One of their victims gave all this stuff to the german police, also mine.
A good chance to bring these mo....f...s to justice, because they are living here in germany.

I've told them i want this ASSO dagger for that price. laugh

What I don't understand is why a big dealer like Wittman doesn't have material on his site protected i.e if you click on a picture and try to copy it a message pops up saying you don't have permission contact the web site owner for same

Most watermarks can be removed if you have a copy of the software that was used to create them. The only solutions are:

1. A unique background with your name included. A thief has to cut out the image

2. Software such as we use in our Maker's Mark gallery.

If anyone know the name/email of the seller they can add it here so others can beware.

Patrice,

We did an exercise a few years ago here where I watermarked a dagger pic. Within less than a day, one of our Members had downloaded it, pulled the watermark, and re posted it.

For a pro, pas de problem.
