I picked this up a few months back and thought is was interesting. It is made very well with nice miter jointed corners and trim. The inlaid wood on the lid was also done well. It also had this little piece of wood in it with these markings on it. It kind of looked like an old hall pass from Junior High back in the day...of course without the German writing on it. If anyone could do a little tranlating, I would appreciate it.
