Great daggers guys! Those Heller's and the Suhl daggers no doubt are very pronounced and these firms did one hell of a job in darkening their etches. It goes to show you with 330 some makers of the SA daggers, it's fairly uncommon to find one of these special painted etches and are always a thrill with collectors that have them. Would love to see some more and even some dark burnished one too. Thank you for posting!

This is a Boker. It may look like paint, but it is factory burnishing. The darkest I have seen.

Great blades that you all show here!

Just one remark: using a dimmed light when taking the picture will turn many mottos dark... the ones that stay dark/black in stronger light are the interesting ones in my opinion.
