Its still out there. Set up at a gun show (Springfield, Mo) a couple weeks ago and this walked in the door. A woman and her husband brought it in. She told me her uncle brought it home fromm WW2. And as long as she could remember it was on his mantle (im assuming she meant hanging above his mantle) because of the nail hole in the hanger. The strap to hold the dagger in place is broken. But is pretty nice besides that (needs to be cleaned up).

That is an extremely great find. From the picture it looks to be in veeeery nice condition. Open her up and take a few more pics, I'd love the see the blade. For sure you don't find these every day.

The photos make the blade look like its been sharpened or scratched up, its just the photos the blade isnt to bad.

Thanks guys...I have had a couple in the past but this is the first one i have had complete. Billy I dont have it near me tonight its in the 4300s or 4500s. I will look at ikt tomorrow night and tell you the number and if its etched.
