Hi guys, Today I came across a Zollbeamte bayonet with its steel & leather scabbard ( sans clamshell and maker's mark , no slot or push button either - Pg.189 Wheeler's book). Condition is good with the exception of some rust on the scabbard tip. Asking price was $475. A good deal?

Len,
Provided the piece was original & period, sure $475 is a good price. Customs bayonets are much more scarce than those for the Police, in any condition.
How is the fit of the grip plates? How do the rivets look? Can you post a picture or two?
