Ok so a few weeks ago my computer stopped booting all together. I installed a new hard drive and re-installed XP and all of my programs. The old disk still works as a drive and I can get to everything there.
Here is my problem: I am running MS outlook as my email client, but I lost all of my old emails/address book/ etc that was on the old (C:) drive I think running MS outlook express.
I know there was a way to export these files, but I need launch it first ( and can't seem to do that...)
Anyone know the file format structure?
Thanks!! Jerry

Jerry, Go to your "old" drive and do a search for a file named outlook.pst. Copy it to your "new" drive in the same location the new "outlook.pst" file resides. This new file was automatically created during the installation of Outlook. Copying the old pst file should be all you have to do. To be safe, I would advise that you make copies of both .pst files before overwriting anything - but then, you already know that. Hope this helps!
