Out of the 50 or so wwii liners I had I never had the one with a vb or ab logo. There was 9 manufactures of wwii liners. Actually ten but hickok decided to cancel it's contract to make liners.

Inland Manufacturing of gm made about 1000000
Westinghouse made 1000000
Mine Safety 384000
St Clair Rubber Company 450000
Capac 600000
Firestone 750000
Hood Rubber 200000
International Molded Plastics 160000
Seaman Paper Company 400000

Now I had westinghouse, mining safety, capac, and firestone liners before. But I am never had the others.

This should help narrow it down.

The 1955 is the Mfgr. date. Not sure who the maker is.

helmet liners were continued to be made into the late 1950's,,,Westinghouse,Micarta and Capac continued the manufacture. In 1958,duck cloth was replaced by Nylon, although duck cloth liners continued to be made until supplies of the cloth were exhausted,,the eyelet hole was dispensed with in 1958 also,,,hope this helps,,,Robert
