I have seen advertised what are described as police or fire protection officer buckles. This is the round buckle with the large swastika in the center. Is there a difference in the police and fire examples, or was the same buckle used for both services? Thanks.

The Police was silver colored and the Fire Protection was black anodized until at least 1940. Then afterward, I believe, the blackened coloring was dropped and Feuerschutzpolizei became also silver colored,identical to standard Police.
