Dave,
We don't get to see many things from the Fliegertruppen, a pleasant surprise.
I believe this gent is a Bavarian pilot, correct? Did'nt most flying visor-caps have the state-colors cockade where this one sports the propellor insignia? Whatever you can tell us would be most interesting and appreciated.
Great to see this cap photographed in color, as the black & whites and sepia-tones don't tell us much when it comes to color nuances.

Hello SSFELD and Bill........thanks for interest.....I had a table at the Max show and an elderly gentleman came to my table asking me if i was interested in the cap,he didn't have any info only "that he had it for over 40 years",,we struck a deal ,and now i am looking for any info and value.......Dave H
