I recently acquired this Astra 400 rig. The pistol was part of contract for 6,000 pistols in 1940-41. The Germans accepted the Spanish proofing system so there are no waffenamts on this piece.The only way to discern them is from the serial # range. Though it came with an unusual ersatz holster it obviously wasn't carried in it much.

very, very nice rig - the pistol looks to be in great condition. A great shooting pistol in general, just a little hard to crank the slide on the first shot. Looks like you got a great pistol !!!

There's neat engineering on the Astra 400, 600, etc. Yours in fantastic condition.
