My collector friend is building a house and was thinking to put a collection room in there. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to treat the walls to show off swords, firearms? Regards, Oleg

I use nails and hang swords by the "U" shaped hook on reverse of the scabbard to hang verticaly.

When I relocated to a condo 18 years ago and had a display problem (small room) I used peg board and painted it .. It is a 4 x 8 sheet... I could see all and handle them at leisure

Great displays guys and fantastic edged weapons.
For me, I like to display my stuff in varied ways, using IKEA glass cabinet at one time, or a glass table top or just a plain wooden pine cabinet, they all fit nicely in my basement.
Cheers

Pat, a fatastic collection and the bottle of wine really adds some class! You're absolutely right ! There's nothing like having a good glass of wine, smoking a fine cigar and enjoying your collection, it just doesn't get any better.
