here is an advertisement for a local establishment, that is giving away A Henckels cutlery set. ( I erased the establishments name so as not to promote them or bring infringement upon myself)
In the 2 photos I listed below I see that the Henckels firm has done away with one of the twins, on this cutlery set and also on the cutting knife to the right of the Knife holder. Just wanted to share and strange to see that one of the twins was removed. Larry

BTW I am kinda bored to be posting this stuff since the hummidity is bad right now to photograph anymore daggers for future postings

I believe this is because the "International" series is not made as the premium level cutlery. Only half the twins?

Looking at their sites, only the German language one still has the twins. The rest are the single knight with the flag.

Something has to up though. You don't dump a 250 year old internationally know logo without reason.

Geoff is correct regarding their lower end international series and using ony one of the twins. They are made in Japan and not Germany.

I have a pair of damascus cutlery knives with gold inlay I believe from Henckels but can't remember if it has one or two of the twins. I will certainly check!
