gold etch on blade i did some search but was unable to find anything. what was the purpose for the gold applid to the etch of the blade sorry i dont have any way to post pics.

oh sorry no it is an navy .As we normaly see the etch on the blade of the navy but this one is outlined in gold. i have had it at the show in raliegh for sale but due to health reason i have not been there in awhile .I just have not found anyone that has seen it before my luck post war fake but it sure looks right.
