Gentlemen

What do you think of these? Came with a bunch of bayonets I got recently. Was it normal practice to wear troddels on combat bayonets?

All the best

James

What units do these troddels represent?

Many thanks

James

Yes, perfectly OK on both the KS98 and S84/98. The green and aluminum Troddle is for NCOs and the other two for enlisted men.

It seems that the considerable wear on the bayonets would indicate that the troddles did not originally come with the bayonets. I am new here, so just my opinion.

Correct Signalman, the bayonets came as part of a big purchase and I'm pretty sure that the guy added them. But they are original?

Thanks for your comments
