Hi , picked up a few relics , i'm not a helmet guy , i believe there are 2 dd heer helmets showing a surprising amount of original paint , and remnants of the decals, i believe they are m35s, the battle damaged (cracked)looks to have a lufty look to the paint? , I know these are what they are "poor conditioned relics" but they were cheap and i like em!, certainly "been there" , what do you guys think about the current state of these relic helmets on the market , are there still "black diggers" out there ?

I can see where Rob is coming from up to a point!, to call them a "waste of space" is a tad harsh though!, being a bayo guy , would i buy relic bayos? , no probably not ! ,I had a couple and gave them to my son and his mate , hopefully it will spark an interest for them who knows?. I'm just a fanatical collector of german militaria and can't resist original stuff in any condition if the price is right . Regards Will

A waste of space was a bit harsh , best to get a solid example that wont disappear in front of your eyes . Rob

Rob , I've been watching relics "stay pretty much the same" before my eyes for years, "YEARS" . Look , I'm with you , I like the nice stuff too!!!!! , . I respectfully disagree with you on your collecting ethos though. looking forward to being educated on your helmet collection, Kindest, Will,
