I'm requesting some info on these 2 bayos for a dear old friend, I'm out of my comfort zone on these, may i start on the short one, quillion no. 10298 with what looks like a prefixed letter "j"?scabbard is not matched (cannot make out no.s though) dated 14 on bottom of pommel? , also handle is loose and silver!,. long one now if i may, brass handle (no movement),full length, scabbard and bayo are matching no. 78944 which has the letter "k" prefix (not unlike the "kriegsmarine" "k" seen on german bayos), sorry its a bit vague, your help, as ever is much appreciated
