Well, As far as I know,, The Latvians did not use a backwards swastika.
This pattern is a 'come lately' one fror me ,,My opinion, I just don't believe it.. The ring has a problem for me or 2,,and I will not comment as I know for a fact a leading counterfeiter reads this site regularly..
Remember, the enamel could very well be real oven fired glass enamel,,doesn't mean its authentic. Certain counterfeiters will actually put in the time and expense to use real enamel,,and why not,,IF this gets passed off as period ring it will go for big money! They make these fakes in batches of 10 or 20 or so. When there is a mistake on them all have the same mistake,,,like lets say,,a backwards swastika!

I agree not original. in general , the quality looks good = details on the "engraving". but , the white "enamel" dose not look correct either. this is what happens when fakers live in countries where the swastika is banned (ha ha). most of these volunteer units would not want anything to do with the swastika ; not what they were fighting for. jeff
