Hello , I know these are real but I have no idea what they are worth. I know these are some type of leggings for a US soldier. can some one give me a ball park price on what they may be worth. I have no use for them and I received these from my great uncle, when he was in Europe. Best regards Larry

These are not a type often seen. They are not WW1 or WW2, but may possibly be much earlier. I am going to have to hit the books on these!

The leggins are 19th century mens spats usually worn over ankle high boots with mens evening wear and a top hat.
They are colledtable to those that specialize in victorian wear.

Hey Steve thank you for the information,, I assumed they were soldiers leggings when my uncle told me he brought these back from Europe. Interesting maybe he picked these up in England..who knows! I will ask around locally at some of the antique clothier stores that sell the turn of the century clothing. Thanks again SteveRay,, Best regards Larry

Thanks Steve!
you confirmed what I thought, but I have never seen a pair n person before.
I can almost picture the redcoats wearing them...

Same here. My dad told me they had laces and not buttons. He HATED them!
