What is that on the end of the motto?,, it looks like some kind of triangle that is a part of the etch. Never sent that before!! and BTW the dagger has been opened at one time!

Thanks Grumpy,, I guess from looking at the blade at 2 different angles and that triangular thing is almost perfect in shape,, along with the equally matching burnishing,, it really threw me off. For that to be an age spot,, it is almost identical in color. Then again to actually see it in hand is better. Larry
