What I can see from the pics it seems to be a period/original RAD leader´s hewer, manufactured by the firm of Alexander Coppel at Solingen.
The hewer obviously has a seldom seen pure aluminium grip/crossguard configuration. It looks that the original artificial burnishing on the pebbled scabbard field is all there. Don´t clean this hewer! seems to be in overall nice, untouched condition. Interesting variant.
