Had the camera out and thought that I would share a couple photos of my 1st pattern Blood Order. It was awarded to Franz Fuchs, a member of SA Munchen and also a holder of the GPB and Coburg Badge.

Erich, you keep finding these unique things Amazing! I think I saw your Koburg Badge too? Was that also of Fuchs?

Thanks for the kind words guys, being a Political guy, the Blood Order and Coburg Badge are my all time favorites due to their history of the very beginings of the Party.

Nice blood order Erich and to know who it bleonged to is an added bonus. You have a great collection of political items. Never get tired of looking at your posts.

Rod, the great thing about the first pattern Orders is that you can identify the recipient and trace their history in the early Party.

That is good to know Erich. Doubt whether I will ever own one though but you never know?

I forgot to add this rare little ribbon device that's a nice accessary to the BO.

Here is a quick picture of my 1st. pattern Blood order #335 with an original ribbon bar device that was obviously worn by the owner.

Here is my latest trio of 1st pattern Blood Orders. Had the pleasure of photographing them today before they headed to the bank.They represent my haul during the past 12 months.I'll be adding more pics on WAF , the picture sizing on here is a real pain,far to small.

And here is an overview of the collection ,minus those 3 and a couple others that didn't make this particualr photocall
I only own two second pattern now,cased. Have focused 100% on the 1st pattern medal apart from on occasions when a second pattern has come up for a reasonable amount.

Always searching for more................

Nice Jon, I was hoping that you would chime in and post some of your collection on this thread!

NSDAP 9. November party rally booklet. The booklet is period published and commemorates the 1923- 1933 years of the NSDAP. The text outlines the celebration hour by hour throughout the event. The pamphlet features the 9 Nov 1923, FHH party eagle on the cover with the date 9. NOVEMBER. The book is a propaganda piece aimed at attracting new members to the party and details party history. Many period advertisements supporting the party are also most interesting. The pamphlet measures 7 x 9.5 inches. Rare and complete. 55 Pages with many photos.

Here is my 2nd Pattern BO owned by SS Sturmbannfuhrer and Major d.Schutzpolizei Hans Dobeck. I had evidence that the owner was Dobeck, but the proof lay in his party records that provided the BO number.

Knowing the name of a second type is the best thing. One day those namelists will hopefully be possible match to the corresponding numbers.

Getting hard to find them these days, but not impossible.

Thanks Erich,but you know me I'm always looking for the next one..... . Here is one I picked up 2 years ago,a colleague over on WAF coloured the photo of him for me! I own his Blood Order and many photographs and post war passports etc.
