I think 1000$ is still too much. Blade has broken tip. No scabbard, wood are damaged...

I would not buy it. The market being what it is these days, a much nicer dagger can be had for a little more money. This one is approaching "relic" condition. Buy the best collectible dagger in the best condition you can afford.

Yes Fredrik it is...maybe 200 - 300$ is the right price in my eyes, if you do not want to spend few $k for a nice one ...this dagger is almost ruined. You can repaire the handle, do something with scabbard, bud the blade ramain with broken tip at the end of the world.

Fair example of an Boker SS! Offer the seller $350 and say all things considered that is the best you can do; then be prepared to add it to your collection as a cherished piece and/or place holder, or wait until you have the resources for a better conditioned one, that way you are now a COLLECTOR / never an investor in this interesting HOBBY!

If it I, which of course it isn't, I would save my money and get a really nice piece and NOT one that I would always regret! That way you will have a nice piece which this one is not!

Don't worry, if its yours and you like it, thats all that counts.
There is nothing wrong with it, other than the obvious defects.
It is what it is.

I think the broken tip is what would put most blade guys off. That said, it's original & you're happy. In reality, that's all that matters. Congrats.
