4 IAB Badges for review!
I could use your help on these IAB Badges some with Maker Mark and some without. I believe these are original but would like to make sure. Can you tell the Maker for each badge? Is any of them more special than the others? Any and all feedback is much appreciated! Thank you in advance for your help. JME

JME. The first badge looks to be an original Carl Wild and the third is an original Fritz Zimmermann. As for the hollow badges these are out of my territory so I have no clue if they are good or who the maker would be?

Hello JME

The first as Rod stated is an original Carl Wild with a repair to the catch.
The second looks to be a Juncker
The third is a Zimmermann with crimped in hardware
The fourth looks like a Deumer

Flat, straight away pics are always best when trying to authenticate a badge.
Here are my Juncker IAB's to compare

Hi Fisher,
Your IAB are just stunning! Outstanding pieces. I like them a lot. In the meantime I found out from another collector on a different site that the Zimmerman has been messed with. If you look close enough at the photos you can see finger prints. It appears that somebody refinished this one. I don't know why somebody would do such a thing just to be a few bucks ahead? Well there are all kinds of people in this hobby. Thank you again for your input! JME

JME, I have seen fingerprints on dagger blades but that doesn't mean they have been messed with! The oil in the skin can leave fingerprints so I don't see why it couldn't leave them on a medal?

I agree with Rod. Fingerprints do not indicate tampering of the finish to me as far as this particular badge is concerned from what I can see in your pictures. Can you post some straight on pictures in a different light? Yes, I have badges and medals that show fingerprints. They have been handled by so many fingers through the years.
