Hello,
Just find this knife by a vet. Never in a collection. I don't know anything about US knife but it seems that USM6 leather scabbard are rare. Opinion? Value?
Thanks & best regards.

It is a nice rig, the guard marked knives are later war, and it is a common maker, but on a whole it is a nice rig that looks like it has been together since the war. The M6 scabbards are tough to find and desirable as they were used alot by Airborne and other special troops. The nice thing about the knife is it looks like the vet punched his serial number marks in there. Do you know anything about him? That could affect the value.

As it sits IMO the scabbard is worth $200-300, the knife worth $75-150. Technically I think think the scabbard should have the earlier blade marked knife in it. But it is what it is!
