This one just came out of a Vets home. This guy must have kept it on his wall and played a lot of cards in the room with his buddies! Scabbard has been painted in the period,I don't believe the Vet messed with it by the looks of the rest of the dagger. Very interesting "chocolate look" to paint. Hanger was on it too, DIRTY to match with strange replaced leather...Hilt and scabbard have all the TIGHT fits,as can be seen by the lack of patina on the scabbard throat and crossguard where they meet. last few to show "patinaless" area around scabbard/crossguard junction and gunstock grip hardwood grain. and one that features the very unturned tang nut... Kevin.

Super dagger with perfect nicotine patination and what a sweet blade, love it!!! Interesting painted scabbard that tells its own story for sure. Congrat!
