I got this hanger and wanted to know if it's good and if I should do anything to improve it some where the leather is all worn?

I believe it to be ok but second opionons are always welcome....I would like to improve it some what..thanks

I think it's good. There are leather restoration products available, but I have never used them. The problem obviously is the smooth-grain finish is worn away in areas. I would guess, if it can be done, something like an auto vinyl/leather repair kit could be used, where you apply a liquid plastic to the surface and use the appropriate grain template on it to give it the correct look. You also might find some very thin grained leather and glue it to the surfaces. I would search Google under leather restoration products to see what you can find. There may be leather restoration services available, but that could get pricey. Totally replacing the damaged areas might be the best cosmetic solution, but you would be losing much of the originality.
