I bought this and have it coming in the mail - If I could get some input I can decide to keep it or return it - Any help would be appreciated -

Not real familiar with flags but doesn't look like any original I've seen before. Here is a photo of the currently produced reproductions. This is supposed to be a direct copy of an original.

The one I am getting has the rope tis on it - Are the originals as small as the one I am getting ?? - 15X17 inches - If it is original has it any value?? Thanks

An original would be worth several thousand dollars. The information I have is that they were approximately 24x24 and embroidered, not printed. The eagles in your photo do not look right to me.

You are correct not to have a good feeling about this flag. It is a reproduction, as indicated by ( amongst other things)the leather reinforced corners on the piece and the thin rope.
