Under the reply or post window, you will see "File Manager". Click it to open a window that lets you browse your computer for photos. When you find one, double click it to get the name in the box, and click "Add File". Repeat as needed, then click "Done Adding Files". When you click the "Submit" button, the files will be loaded to the forum. Users can load up to 5 photos at a time, Premium Members and moderators can add up to 10 photos at a time. This is not available in the "Quick Reply" window at the bottom of a thread.

If you get a message that your photos are too big, use the free online photo re-sizer at PicResize.com

As a new member I resized my photos using the recommended website, however although the file sizes are well below the 123KB size when I try to add them I continue to get the file too large prompt. Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong? Thanks, Lugermac

Help, please. I have three images to post to the new Book Forum but am unsure of resizing them from their present 1.7MB, 2.9MB, and 2.7MB respective sizes. I have the software but just need to know what reduction % to apply in each case. Thanks Barry

Here is a web site and instructions on how to easily resize your photos so they can be posted. http://www.wwiirelics.com/photoresizer/shrinkimage.phpJohn

Hi guys. I've been trying everything to post some pictures on here. They either come out very small or like they have some sort of special effects going on after I have used the resizer. I have used several resizers and spent hours trying. How the heck do I do this? The dagger is going to end up going through the computer screen if I waste much more of my life trying this. Can someone help please?

Look at the last post on the previous page. That works.
Also, Microsoft Photo Editor has a resizing tool.

In the FAQ it has this explaination for how to post images; "In order to add an image to your message or your signature, you must have the image already available on a web server and reachable by a URL. This can be an image on your own personal web page, for example. To place an image within a message, simply use the following Markup Tag: For example, if you have an image called cateye.gif and its available from your own website at http://www.mywebsite.com/pics, then you would use the following image markup: You can do the same for your signature. Click the My Home option found on any page. Then, under the Main Configuration heading, click on "Personal Information, email, password...". Look for the Signature box, and enter your desired information, including any images/markup as above. Note: To keep the forums loading quickly for everyone, it is recommended that you do not exceed 35k for your image size". Is this just to provide a link to a photo or will the photo actually appear on the forum? If the image appears on the forum, will it be better quality than one which has been resized? Will this work with an image I have uploaded to 'Picassa web albums', 'Drop Box' or if I upload a photo to google? Or is it better just to resize the image first?

You can use the Image icon (4th form the left, the box with a folded corner) to enter the address of an image and it will display in the post. Size does not matter for a linked image. It should work for any image you can see with an "Http://www.xxxxx.cpm/image.type" address.

Vern,
Thank you. I would like the forum members to know that thanks to the forum for it's existence and the patience it shows to new collectors and for your generosity is sharing your time and knowledge I was saved from losing several thousand dollars on a group of daggers that had been offered to me. I'm an old man and been to gunshows for 40 years and read a lot and thought I knew enough to spot a fake. I was wrong...

Try this site - http://www.picresize.comAllows you to crop and gives both original and reduced photo size. It looks to be simple and easy to use
