Hey guys,

i'm about to buy my first NSKK dagger, but before doing something stupid, i would like some second opinions from you. So what do you think, and can anyone tell me something about the markings on the crossguard...?

Thanks in advance
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I no idea about the inscription, but from these pictures seems to me the uper crossguard don't match the lower. I think too better pictures from the blade, MM included, are needed to be sure about it.

Regards,

Ricardo

It is Pack but in really not top condition. Scabbard looks repainted (maybe period), balde is a llttle rusty, handle looks repaired. I would pass it but all depends on how much You have to pay.

Its been opened by a set of pliers. The tang nut shows it. Its hard to say if the crossguards belong to the dagger Just my opinion.

Yes it's a anton wingen. 470€ is that too much? Seller says the scabbard is blued, not painted.

Hi Kevin !
That dagger has to many issues, and whould not go into my collection for even half that price !!
To be honest I whould not even consider this one.
There are many far more better and "Textbook" daggers for sale
especially in todays market for less than he is asking.
There are many good dealers out there with lots to choose from !
Best of the hunt mate !
Cheers, Håkan

Dagger as pointed out has issues, still a legit historical weapon.
With the hanger, I think it is easily worth $400 US, not much more.

Really poor dagger, parts dagger I'd say. It's not A.Wingen handle. Ugly buffed, forget it. 470 euros? NO WAY.
Below two A.Wingen daggers to compare...
