Hi,
This "carbine" length Eickhorn has the back-to-back squirrel trademark. I know the mark was used from the early 1900's until the 1920's and I'm wondering if this bayonet could date from WWI. The hilt is plated, the blade is not. The grips are wood. What sort of date would you guys put on it?

Will- the blade hasn't been sharpened. It's almost mint and has nice crossgrain. Here's the scabbard and frog.

What a beautiful piece. These early pieces are always eye-candy to the dress bayonet collector. What tops it all for me are the wonderful grip-plates as well as the plating. It simply has a different "feel" to it. JAN 
An avid KS98 bayonet collector.
