Yes, it is the rare sleeve eagle for the 41st SS Budweiser Division.

Seriously, it looks like a hand embroidered copy. Maybe someone was bored? Lot of work for an obvious fake, maybe it's more like trench art?

You know, I think it may be real.
The Italians made some butt-ugly eagles and I think this bird may be one of them, as it has some of the characteristics I have seen.

How big is it and what US patches were with it?

hello jerry-3-3/4 x 1-3/4. the only other patch i got was the u.s. ww1 costal patch. the fellow had a bunch of patchs but when i offered him a price for all of them-he decided to keep them for his kid. he gave me these 2 patches for driving over and giving him a price. when i was looking at them i set those 2 aside an told him 1 was german and the other was ww1.a very nice old fellow-was fun to talk with.

hello mr. jerry and militariamania-thanks for taking the time to look at my patch.i was thinking it was a fake. so there is a chance some fellow that collects italian fake looking patches might be interested. thanks paul
