Thought I would post a few pieces I found at the last Max show, in my eyes the premium dagger show in the world bar none.

Gary, Great finds. You keep this up and you can furnish your own small army. Henckel is definitely one of my favorite makers for their quality is always at the top. Again, congratulations and enjoy your latest additions. James

Thanks guys, I thought the show was the best I've been to for a number of years, the new venue is very nice, good lighting and a great atmosphere.

Gary:
Great finds!
I think that ordinary items in ordinary condition did not do well at this show. But, as you so ably demonstrate to us here, premium conditioned and great items were to be found at decent prices.

Gary, Great score on these Forestry daggers. -Congrats! The MAX this year was super. I heard of a minty Full Rohm SS walk in the door. Then an old guy with a bunch of swords walked in all stuffed in an old ladies shopping cart selling them all for $500. each. One was a tarnished Silver Lions head sword with Damascus blade presented to a Leibstandarte Officer ! Then there was a super untouched SS Honor Damascus dagger that walked in. Agree with Johnny Z. Great for buying, for selling you had you have real nice stuff priced fairly. Run-of-the-mill stuff were almost dead. -serge-
