I noticed no responce here. I've been working on a book all on maker marks ; "1933" - 1945. Never saw this mark so far. can you put up photo ,or mention the actual item it's on ? I assume post war mark ,or an unknown distributor mark. the only f.b.'s that come up, are Fritz Balke ,&Fritz Weber, WHICH hounestly I can't find a mark for. I got those names from the never completed maker marks list at this forum site. no idea what they may have made. In 1934 almost all the companies got onboard to "make" the sa dagger, ect. Unfortuantly ,most of them never actually made those items. joe blow across the street did & marked it with that comp. logo. this industry from 33-45 was more of a co-op group of companies. I make this, you make that. I stamp half with your logo. , you do the same on those items. most of the companies were NOT cappable of making every thing offered. This could be what your item is (?). jeff h.
