Just wanted showoff my new bayonet okay just kidding... I wanted to know if any have seen such mark on another 44asw before... pics aren't great they're from the auction where i purchased it i haven't got it yet so i don't have better pics they're well offcenter and have an extra "2" on the side its about the 44asw mark

Its probably mistake stamp, there exist doubble stamps too, but not so moved to side.Look nice. best regards,Andy

The bayonet arrived today still with original greese the "2" is an "a" apparently it seems that they first marked it correctly 44asw centered and then a bit of grinding ups.. "4" is missing then they striked 44a (sw) over the W the 9 in serial is also partially missing must have been a bad day LOL..
