All that one needs is a Spitzer tag, exceptional condition, just look at the high crisp ridges to that blade.

Spitzer had an early and a later made army dagger the early one having brass based fittings 2 side screws in the scabbard and usually a slant grip and tapered tang this is the 2nd style and i can't remember seeing a spitzer with a better blade nice catch

That blade is pristine & certainly a very good catch. I agree with Roy that it is the best Spitzer blade I have ever seen. The crossguard looks to be the generic type to me. The whole rig looks very "crisp"...NICE!
