There may be original gold hangers, but I'm unaware of such. Usually, when you see these, they were originally silver and have toned to gold, or the silver finish has worn and oxidized off, exposing a copper or brass coating under the silver one. If you look toward the tip of the strap on this one, you will see mostly silver, especially on the high areas. These tend to sell in the $800 range, depending on condition. However, they may be had for less or more, depending on the seller and what the buyer is willing to pay.
