Hello, I received them yesterday and have only 3 days for inspection. I really need you help and would appreciate for any opinions. I am only in the beginning of my collection and suspicious already on this crosses. They are all different ...... 1st. I think it's good one . Magnetic core. Ring mark KAG, weight is 17.4 grams 2nd. Magnetic core. It's marked BUL and CO ( not sure), numbers are bigger and located much lower , crown located more to right , not in the center. this one is heavier - 18.3 grams. 3rd. This one create a lot questions for me.Magnetic core. Marked KO, weight is only 14.8 grams. Part of big W is under frame , numbers 4 and 3 partially are under the frame, the ring welded not to the frame , but above (see pics), but this one has original ribbon. May be i am too suspicious, what you think, guys. Regards, Andrei

Done.
KAG and KO are observed period maker marks. The second ring mark looks to be an 800 silver stamp with CD. KAG unknown. KO Königliches Münzamt Orden. CD unknown (could be Carl Dillenius).
On the KO cross the core may be loose and shifted. Beyond that I don't know.

Andrei,
At first glance all three look to be original, however, I don't like the placement of the ring on the third example, it seems to sit too high above the frame. The examples that I have all have the suspension ring mounted almost centered on the top lip, like your first and second examples. The big weight difference gives me cause for concern too. Are you certain the iron insert is a seperate piece?
If that one bothers you my best advice would be to return it. There are still plenty of good EKII examples out there that don't need any special explanations, whether it's original or not. Good hunting!
Joe, thanks mate.
Best!
Bill
