Welcome to the forum, normally we don't like to see "advertising" posts in the forum sections, but its been kind of slow here so we'll make this a "learning opportunity"
The AuLion was the only maker of these knives to actually see combat in WWI.
Many of these "Knuckle duster" knives were also re-issued in WW2. A favorite of the paratroops, you will frequently see one or both of the hand guard sides to be ground down to allow a closer fit to the body.

Point well taken about the post........ Good info about the Aulion......I did not realize it was the only ones to see combat....Why is it that the LF&C knifes did not?.......
