Most of these rings we see we tend call WW 1 rings.
True, many were bought and sold during the 1st WW. But many were made after the war and well into the 1930's as remembrance rings/Patriotic rings..
Please feel free to add your WW 1, Inter-war, Freikorp era, and WW 2 era Patriotic rings...
This is a silver ring, no content stamp.. Has 3 stripes of enamel with the German colors. Also a black enamel Swastika.. This ring I'd say would date to be an early 1930s piece..

 Yes this is real a special ring. Silver, deep red enamel, the austrian "Tunkan" and a makers mark. And --- 2! --- seams. Not one on the oposite of the plate, 2 behind the shoulders. Here some better pics

Members,,Please check out Odals Bismark ring with date.. This date is hand cut with a jewelers hand graver.
This is exactly what you want to look for when inspecting hand engraved rings/jewelry. You can see were the start or plunge of the tool starts, the slight twist of the tool makes the wider spots for effect. This too applies to Honor Rings,,on authentic pieces you will see this similar type of work.. Very nice..

Hi Dean, "old" friend! Nice to meet you here! Yes, you are right. This ring is a very special one. At least 95 years old. Perfect made. In front the prussian eagle Thor and Germania and the rest of the band is complete covered with military scenes. Inside also some nice inscriptions: iron cross and some famous Bismarck words. Maybe i post some more pics of this ring here.

I remember seeing a photo or two of this prize when you first got the Bismark lot and I was drooling over it then, now your detailed pictures show it's even more incredible- on the inside and out.
Amazing how much art and battle scene could fit on one ring.

Enjoying the incredible ring displays Gaspare,Odal, and Benten.
On Gaspare's recent 1914-1918 post I think the nouveau styling included with the rifle sets it off nicely.
On Odal's recent glasston I like the way the oakleaves are flowing in the same direction as the swaz...like they are attempting to hold it in motion.
