Hi All: Here's a pic I recently came across of an early Ehrendegen collector. Enjoy! Ross Kelbaugh www.ssdaggers.com

A good shot of old Kurt. As Chief of Police he probably confiscated them from everyone else in the car so they would not stab him in the back with them.

A nice picture which should help to alleviate some misconceptions concerning Police Officer's carrying SS Officer swords.
On the other hand, who knows what's going on with the police officer seemingly holding three swords. Perhaps he really is a "Collector"
In any event, an interesting and appreciated photograph.
Ross, endless gratitude for your efforts and giving.
John

Forget the jets and the sharks showing up in a '54 Ford to rumble..THAT is a serious car load of trouble..

I'm sure he is holding on to everybody else's sword. Would be difficult to hold on to them while riding in the car.

Excellent photo! And, if only it were warmer, and they weren't wearing gloves! What good shots of the Totenkopf rings we might get!

Now when they got off the car, how would everyone know which Degen was whose?

The photo is amazing. Many thanks for sharing. From the left Wolff, Lorenz, Daluege, von Woyrsch(partially hidden), Heydrich...Any chance to recognize who is on the right? Michal
