Hi all - I met a WW2 veteran who was having a garage sale the other day. I asked if he had any German souvenirs, and he replied "Only some of the money."! He told me he was in the Lake Superior regiment, an armoured unit, and had seen the destruction in the Falaise Gap from a Bren gun carrier.
