Tom...I have tried the local papers in my town and the towns around me, but have had the best luck with the regional free paper that has nothing but ads in it, the ones you see in convience stores the one down here is called the wooden nickle or big nickle. It covers a 100 mile area around me and takes in quite a few little town.I have run my ad for years off and on and its hit or miss. I normally run my ad for 3 or 6 months at a time. This time when i placed the ad it has panned out better that other times. I normally put in the ad wanted to buy German WW2 war relics, uniforms, helmets, edged weapons, medals, etc.lol, it never matters how i word the ad, i ALWAYS get calls from people wanting to know if i buy german stamps or money.

Thanks G....Its not as much fun as it use to be. Before the internet i loved telling people what they had, who carried it, etc. But since the internet they look the stuff up and know before they call me. And alot of them have checked the dealer sites and want an arm and a leg (lol, seems they always check out the higest priced dealer). I have looked at a whole lot more stuff than i have bought because they arent even in the ball park. I have always paid more than i should, lol, im lucky if i break even when i decide to sell it, but i at least know its real.
