OK guys, I know this may not exactly be the right spot for these but could use some help. Picked these up this AM, a few of them are pretty good medals, no home runs but nice. Is the Order of the Red Banner and the Order of glory worth researching? I'm 99.9% sure they are WW2 vintage due to the serial numbers, Red Banner number is #244735 and the Glory medal is #308796, all have original ribbons and mounts. Thanks for the opinions in advance.

Fritziii,, no home run?! The ORB and Glory are very good pieces. Top row left,Libeartion of Prague, the a Stalingrad,,a Moskow and right end a capture of Budapest
bottom row from left,,you know, the Glory, the Red Banner then a Lenningrad ,a Berlin and last on right a Victory over Germany. Man! thats a pretty good haul!

Thanks Gaspare! I guess I did OK with the group, I wounder if the Order of the Red Banner or Order of Glory is worth further research and try to put a name with them. This is my first ventur into Russian medals, I thought it was a good deal so I rolled the dice and bought the group.

F. , What are they charging now to run the numbers??
The Red Banner is 100% good. It is what they call a Type 3 - variation 2,,because of the mint mark and numbers are correct for variation..
Glory, looks like a 3rd class. I"m not so good with these but I'd say a good one..
These Soviet medals are a real roller coaster with values. I had most in the mid 90s and most were kind of cheap.. Then they had a big increase in price and were hard to get as many Russians became collectors and wanted their stuff back!.. Lately they have leveled off............

Gaspare, I was told $100.00 for one award. Thanks for the comment, not sure what to do with them, first soviet medals I have ever had.
