Dont know what was wrong yesterday but OK now!

This image is NOT the Hindenburg as noted on the picture, this caption relates to another award.
My picture is of the von Heydebreck award.

This next image is of the von Aulock award.
Both have similarities to the emblem on the spoon, one with the crown and the other with the cross!

The Tunic with hidden buttons is very unique. I like it. Here are two Hunting Association medallions found at the Huntsville Show last week. The gold one is a solid non-portable and the bronze is hollow and was apparently attached or soldered to another unknown object. Both appear to have something to do with handguns. Ideas??

Nice Rieverforster tunic Tristan. Are the buttons bake lite/metal with striated faces?
I hate I missed the Huntsville show?
thanks,
Pauli

Hi Essex....nice photo.I don't know his rank but he is from the Deutsche Jaegerschaft organisation. Maybe if you look closely at his arm badge you will see the stag's head emblem similar to ones already posted. He is wearing his informal tunic (green buttons)and would have another with silver buttons for more formal occasions.
Hi Mann...yes, the buttons are bakelite and have very fine lines etched unto them.
Lastly, a Forestry Greatcoat.

Thanks for your reply regarding the buttons Tristan!
I have a collection on m1943 type field caps. Something in common with a few, the striated texture of the bakelite buttons. This texture even carries over into a Swedish model I own from the same period.
Gorgeous tunics!
Cheers, Pauli
