Gents, For your enjoyment a lovely pair of club anniversry pins for twenty and twenty-five years service. This shooting club was called the "Neue Schtzen Gesellschaft - Stuttgart 1904." This translates to the New Shooting Association or Club, founded in Stuttgart in 1904. So keeping the founding date in mind the earliest the pins could be is in the 1924 to 1929 range, that is if the owner was one of the founding members..? In my opinion they could go up to mid-thirties as far as construction goes, both made by the firm of Mayer & Wilhelm, Stuttgart. The design, materials, and construction are all of first-class quality and the condition is really sublime. The weight of the pieces is near that of a Luftwaffe badge if you can believe that? The oak leaves that border the top are among the best I've ever seen used in a tiny motif like this, there are even a couple of empty acorn caps to be seen here and there throughout the design - very cool! heh ... no really, the things are quite impressive to see firsthand with a good handheld-magnifying glass. Good fun to say the least ... Hope you guys might add some other older fuzzies and such. Special thanks to my old pal Baz who always keeps me in mind for little gems like these. All the best to my collecting amigos! Bill

Well boys, Here's another beauty that comes from a first-class collection in Germany - thanks Carlos! A Bavarian anniversary fuzzy made by Deschler, to celebrate the Franco/Prussian War and also a jubilee for the Bavarian Krassier/cuirassier Regiment - Schwere Reiter Regt. C'mon guys, pop another in, too ... Bill

A very nice badge and typical german artwork. And: Deschler in Munich! - My heart... Willi, unfortunally Carlos is not longer owner of the badge. He gave it away. It's on a long way, not to Tipperary, but to Media, a small town in the States. There lives a guy... Let me know, when it arrives. Regards Giancarlo
