sabazius, It looks like you've found a very nice Luftwaffe sword there! Usually these are seen made by SMF or H�rster, not Emil Voos. I'm sure those who specialize in these swords will agree that these are far and few between. That should make for a great addition to your collection! Best regards, Bill

Nice sword, you have to buy the "voos" sword at sterling gambino's site. It's a early one. Would be a nice match.

Yes the grip wire looks like brass colored, and thats a bit weird. Maybe replaced, you can compare it with the wire on the Voos sword at Sterlings site.
