sabazius, It looks like you've found a very nice Luftwaffe sword there! Usually these are seen made by SMF or Hörster, not Emil Voos. I'm sure those who specialize in these swords will agree that these are far and few between. That should make for a great addition to your collection! Best regards, Bill

Nice sword, you have to buy the "voos" sword at sterling gambino's site. It's a early one. Would be a nice match.

Yes the grip wire looks like brass colored, and thats a bit weird. Maybe replaced, you can compare it with the wire on the Voos sword at Sterlings site.
