Is this a common Luger? What is the approx. value that these are selling for?

What about this one? Mismatched numbers made by Krieghoff(sp.)1936.

Hi Bob, for a point of reference, I have a Luger, mismatched as these, that I paid $400 for, about 6 years ago. I'd guess it to be worth more along the lines of $600, at least if I were to sell it I wouldn't take less than that for it.
Mine is all matching but for the front half of the toggle (the part with the DWM and the extractor). Mine is a 1940 dated receiver, and I believe was a Russian Capture or East German (it came with the plastic grips with the bulls eye).
Yours I would place much higher value on as it appears to have original era magazine and grips. My magazine is a post war replacement with black plastic bottom. The Kreighoff is a rarer seen manufacturer.
My guess is you have about $1800 - $2500 worth of lugers in those two. Just my guess mind you.

The Mauser 36 if all matching (inside parts I can not see in the pics) I would say dealer retail with the matched mag would be around and over 2k. The 1936 date Mauser is IMO one of the best finished of any of the German military years. The g letter block on yours would mean it is early enough in that years's production to have had the polished inside receiver...so much the better.
The mis-matched Krieghoff I can not give you an estimate on value. It would depend on which part or parts were mis-matched. The finish appears to be original and pretty nice. I would say if the frame, receiver and toggle match then it will bring well of 2k...even with some mis-matched small parts

I ended up with both of them. The first one is numbers matching throughout and in very good condition. I don't know how to rate it so I won't even make an attempt. The second one is not a Krieghoff as it was advertised to be. The receiver is marked 1936, while it has a DWM marked toggle. It has a lot of mismatched parts.

Even the mis-matched one seems to have the original finish, grips and mag...that is period parts in those areas as the mag is from the 1940-42 timeframe.
I'd go with Chris on it and no less than 5 or 6 hundred. If you parted it out (I don't recommend it) you could get maybe 1200 or so but it could take a while to see everything.
The matched one is real nice. 2k may sound high and may be hard to get, but I have seen several 1936 dates with MM mags and worse looking finish sell (not just asking price) for over 2500 lately....so I feel that 2k is very low in terms of any dealer's price for that gun.
