Hello all this is my first German WW2 bayonet and would like some additional information if possible.
The blade has the name Berg&Co on one side and the other has the number 2753 d. The back of the blade has the number 40. On the attachment button it has the number Wa a 865 753 i think its hard to see.
The scabbard has the number 3041 R and the other side has the number 43 fnj
Any information would be much appreciated thank you.

On pommel area where the small eagles are stamped above WaA253 or 883, when different numbers it means a switch piece. best regards,Andy
