Hello, In 1942, and 1943 due to the high cost of aluminum a number of heer model flare pistols were manufactured in Zinc. Walther Banner, ac (walther), Erma Erfurt, ayf (Erma Erfurt ), and Duv marked examples are known. Maybe one out of 20 Heer models of those years are in Zinc. Good Collecting

I have a flare gun that came out of a Heinkel He-111. Its perfect...all the waffemampt markings and 1941 stamp....

You are probably already aware of it, but in case not - your Zink Leuchtpistole is made by Berlin-L�becker Maschinenfabrik (code duv).
